Getting to work with all the talented people

Emerging from my drumming training, I embarked on a musical journey that began with a fruitful collaboration with local guitarist and singer Bren Canty, a partnership that endures to this day. Eager to connect with active bands, I soon joined forces with Stan Whitehouse and the renowned saxophonist and rock & roll bagpipe player, Dave 'Brooksie' Brooks. This led to numerous London gigs and an introduction to the legendary drummer Sam Kelly, as well as the iconic Station Tavern in Ladbroke Grove, a cornerstone of the 1970/80s London blues scene.

Playing at the Station Tavern's Sunday Jam was a pivotal moment, offering the chance to perform with top bands such as Shakey Vic, the Paul Lamb Band, 'Detroit' John Idan, Big Joe Louis, Wolfie Witcher, Pappa George, TJ Johnson, and many others.

This opportunity marked the beginning of a 25-year career that saw me perform with numerous prominent London bands and at celebrated venues and events, including Dublin Castle, Dingwalls, Notting Hill Carnival, Hammersmith Apollo, Jazz Cafe, 100 Club, The Marquee Club, The Borderline, Bulls Head Barnes, and many more. My journey took me across the UK, with performances at notable festivals such as Glastonbury, Womad, Green Man, and Shambala.

Internationally, I have toured extensively across the UK, Ireland, Europe (from Italy to Norway), and as far afield as Mexico and Japan. My diverse musical experiences include performing with well-known artists and bands like William Bell, Zoot Money, Lord Eric, Daniel O'Donnell, Chris Jagger, Zambula, The Foundations, Top Topham, England, Maluju, Abdul Raheem, Kangaroo Moon, Bristol Reggae Orchestra, John O'Reilly, Andy Mitchell, Baka Beyond, Pete Gill, Eddie Martin, London Calling, and many others.

Currently based in the picturesque South Wales, I continue to evolve as a musician by practicing, performing live, and working on new music in my home studio. I also offer online drum lessons.

My heartfelt thanks go to all the incredible musicians and bands I've had the privilege to work with over the years. Although not everyone could be mentioned here, your contributions are deeply valued and appreciated.
